§ 1 Area of validity

The PC game "Light Driver" as well as participation in the online championship www.lightdriver.com are offered free of charge by Hella KGaA Hueck & Co..

A participant takes part in the championship by sending the points score he has achieved with the PC game "Light Driver" to the online high score list on the Internet page www.lightdriver.com.
|
| (3) |
On downloading the PC game "Light Driver" or transmitting his high score to the online high score list www.lightdriver.com, the participant accepts these participation conditions.
|
| (4) |
In order to be able to transmit a points score to the championship high score list, a valid e-mail address must be given when the data is transmitted, and the country selected in which the participant has his place of residence. Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. will use the e-mail address to inform the participant if he has won a prize. The participant must ensure that he can be reached via this e-mail address.

The high score data entry is made alongside a check of the e-mail address. Participation in the championship with more than one e-mail address is not permissible, in order to ensure that one player is not listed more than once in the high score list.

When determining the winners of the prizes, all entries received from the start of the championship onwards, to 31.01.2005 (0:00 hours) will be taken into account.

| (7) |
Prizes will be drawn from the championship high-score entries received.
|
| (8) |
The start of the championship is October 1, 2004.
|
§ 2 Participants
| (1) |
All employees of the Hella Group as well as their relatives are excluded from taking part.
|
| (2) |
In order to take part in the final round of the championship, it is absolutely necessary for all the personal data given to be true. If the participant is drawn as a prize winner, proof will be requested via the e-mail address the participant gave when transmitting the high score.

| (3) |
Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. reserves the right to disqualify people who violate these conditions from the championship.
|
§ 3 Administration and processing
| (1) |
The administration of the championship and the selection of prizes is the responsibility of Hella KGaA Hueck & Co.
|
| (2) |
In the case of manipulation or attempted manipulation, even in the case of suspected (attempted) manipulation, Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. reserves the right to exclude participants without having to specify reasons.
Manipulation is regarded in particular as changes to the above-mentioned PC-game or high score data transmitted with the game as well as the use of any aids.

The names of prize winners may be published on web pages of Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. and/or the pages of partners. Winners of the championship expressly agree to this form of publication.

| (4) |
If for technical reasons a participant receives the news of a prize after the cut-off date so that he cannot reply within the period given, his right to participate no longer applies.

§ 4 Premature termination
| (1) |
Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. reserves the right to break off or terminate the championship at any time without previous notice. Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. can make use of this possibility in particular if for technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation, or software or hardware errors) or for legal reasons the championship can no longer be guaranteed to be carried out correctly. In as far as such a termination is caused by the behaviour of a participant, Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. can make a claim for damages against this person.

§ 5 Data protection

Through his participation in the championship, the participant expressly agrees to Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. storing his necessary personal data for the duration of the championship and beyond this period. Every participant is free to revocate his agreement to data storage at any time and thus withdraw his participation.

With regard to the registered participant data, Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. is committed to observing legal data protection regulations. In particular, the data will be treated confidentially.
|
§ 6 Liability
| (1) |
No liability will be assumed for the announcement of the winners.
|
| (2) |
Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. is not liable for damages that can be caused by errors, delays or interruptions in transmission, problems with the technical equipment and service, incorrect contents, loss or deletion of data, viruses or in any other way during use of the PC game "Light Driver" or the Internet page www.lightdriver.com, unless such damage was caused by Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. (its organs, employees or assistants) wilfully or through gross negligence.

§ 7 Miscellaneous

The judges' decision is final.
|
| (2) |
These conditions of participation and the whole legal relationship between the participants and Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. are exclusively governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Should individual provisions of these conditions of participation be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the other conditions of participation.
|
| (4) |
These conditions of participation can be modified by Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. at any time without separate notification being necessary.
